Officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) visited camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Baidoa.
They visited IDPs at several camps together with regional officials.
Southwest state’s Deputy Minister of Relief accompanied the SODMA officers during the visit, which took place on Thursday.
They took the time to encourage the IDPs.
Furthermore, they assured the IDPs that the regional and federal governments would continue working to uplift their condition.
