Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for donating foodstuff to victims of floods in Beledweyne.
SODMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim thanked UAE on behalf of his Organization as well as the government and people of Somalia.
Specifically, he thanked UAE for being the first to take significant action and ensuring that the flood victims of Hiiraan region receive urgent humanitarian assistance in the form of food.
