Somaliland Journalists Association (SOLJA) donated personal protective equipment (PPEs) to media houses and journalists in the country.
The COVID-19 protective equipment it donated included hand wash sanitizers, gloves, and facemasks.
SOLJA donated the equipment to television stations, newspaper outlets, media websites, and freelancer journalists. It donated to state-owned news agencies too.
The organization also issued journalists with handouts containing CPJ international guidelines on how to report and conduct themselves during the pandemic.
