The Attorney General has warned government officials against using their positions to enrich themselves.
Attorney General Sulayman Mohamoud issued the warning on Sunday.
He was speaking to the media.
“I would like to issue a stern warning to all public officials,” the AG stated.
“The era of public officers using government positions for personal gain anywhere in the country is over,” AG Mohamoud added.
He spoke a few days after the commencement of a corruption case against public officials.
