Somalia’s Minister of Agriculture traveled to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia to attend a conference on food security.
Ahmed Madobe Nuunow, the agriculture and irrigation minister, arrived for the conference on Saturday.
Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, the Special Envoy of the President of Somalia for Humanitarian Affairs and Drought Response, accompanied the agriculture minister.
The conference has attracted ministers from several countries in the region and other stakeholders.
The African Union Committee on Agriculture organized the conference together with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
