Somalia and Serbia are interested in strengthening diplomatic relations between them.
This emerged on July 9 when Somalia’s Ambassador to Serbia visited the Serbian Minister of Interior.
Ambassador Mohamed Abdullahi Ahmed paid Alexander Vulin, the interior minister, a courtesy call on Saturday.
They discussed several issues during the meeting.
Top on their agenda were discussions on strengthening cooperation between the East African nation and Serbia.
Areas that the two nations could mostly focus on include security.
Vulin informed Ambassador Ahmed that Serbia is ready to offer military training to Somalia’s security forces.
