Somali National Army (SNA) forces launched an operation in Middle Shabelle that targeted a senior Al-Shabaab terrorist.
The operation was on Sunday.
Several sources confirmed that the Al-Shabaab leader was eliminated in the attack. However, his identity remains hidden.
It was revealed that SNA worked closely with their United States counterparts in the operation.
