Somali cabinet has given a seal of approval to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) and Italian News Agency.
The cabinet approved the MOU after holding its meeting on Thursday.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired this week’s cabinet meeting.
The MOU that SONNA and the Italian News Agency signed recently enhances cooperation between both agencies.
It also allows them to exchange information.
Through the MOU, the Italian News Agency has promised to support the development of the media industry in the East African nation.
