The Somali cabinet has endorsed the cabinet to join Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama said this earlier today.
Jama said it while addressing the ongoing 22nd COMESA Heads of State and Government Summit, which kicked off on Thursday in Lusaka.
While addressing his colleagues, Jama added that parliament would now ratify the cabinet’s decision.
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that Somalia has already made huge strides in terms of governance and security.
