ALGIERS — The Head of Somalia’s Supreme Court, H.E. Bashe Yusuf Ahmed, has arrived in Algiers to participate in a major continental judicial meeting.
The Chief Justice is attending the 19th Executive Bureau session of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa (CJCA), which commenced in the Algerian capital this week. Held under the auspices of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the prestigious event has brought together Supreme Court leaders from numerous African countries.
Strengthening Rule of Law
Running from January 21 to 24, 2026, the conference provides an essential forum for judicial discussions. The agenda focuses on aligning legal frameworks, encouraging collaboration among the continent’s top courts, and advancing the rule of law throughout Africa.
