A woman who works with Somali Community Action Group (SCAG) was killed in the explosion that rocked Baidoa on February 6.
SCAG expressed sadness at the death of the young worker.
On Saturday, Baidoa experienced a deadly terror attack. Several casualties were reported while many were rushed to hospital with diverse injuries.
SCAG, whose mission is to advocate for a better future for the Somali community, described the woman as “young, educated, and devotional.”
The organization also mentioned that the woman was actively involved in the Baidoa A2J Committee, which enjoys the support of the Expanding Access to Justice Program (EAJP).
