A military court in Somalia sentenced an ISIS cameraman to 10 years’ imprisonment.
Meeting on Monday, August 30, the court found Abdisamad Ibrahim Omar guilty of involvement with the terror group.
The court reviewed all the evidence filed against Omar.
In its view, the court believes that Omar had been actively involved in recording videos for the terror group.
Secondly, it also found him guilty of spreading the terror group’s propaganda in Somalia and the entire Horn of Africa region.
ISIS has a significant presence in Somalia.
