Somali delegates visited the Mayor of Kigali on Thursday.
The delegates, who are from the Municipality of Mogadishu, are in Rwanda for a study tour on Sustainable Urban Development.
They visited Mayor Pudence Rubingisa of Kigali.
Mayor Rubingisa briefed the Somali delegation on various issues including the 2050 Kigali City Masterplan.
He also brought them up to speed on the city’s beautification plans.
The Kigali Mayor also discussed car-free zone initiatives that the Rwandan capital has instituted and implemented over the years.
