A Somali delegation is in New York to present the country’s first Voluntary National Review (VNR) to the United Nations.
Sharmarke Farah, the Director-General of the Somalia National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS), led the delegation.
The SNBS team is to present the VNR at the UN high-level forum on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The team traveled to New York for the forum and presentation on Thursday, July 7.
Farah expressed his gratitude at the opportunity he got to lead the delegation from his country to such an important event.
