Somali Delegation Travels to Addis Ababa for Further Talks on Ankara Deal with Ethiopia

The Somali delegation, led by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali Omar MP, is scheduled to travel to Addis Ababa on Monday for further discussions regarding the Ankara Declaration accord between Somalia and Ethiopia.

This agreement, brokered by Türkiye and signed in Ankara a few days ago, aims to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the country’s dedication to maintaining positive relationships with its neighbors.

It highlighted Somalia’s focus on mutual respect for sovereignty and fostering unity and collaboration among nations in the region.

The upcoming discussions in Addis Ababa reflect Somalia’s proactive approach to regional diplomacy and its efforts to promote stability and partnership in the Horn of Africa.
