The House of the People (Lower House) held discussions on the conditions at Mogadishu Central Police.
Legislators from the Lower House held a session on Monday to discuss a report on the police station from the Committee for Human Rights and Justice.
Primarily, the report speaks on the overcrowding witnessed at the station.
It added that the overcrowding in the police cells at the station presents a huge challenge specifically to inmates and police officers alike.
