The federal parliament of Somalia has questioned the Minister of Finance over the 2022 budget.
Dr. Abdirahman Beileh appeared before the two houses of the federal parliament.
Legislators from the House of the People (Lower House) teamed up with their colleagues from Senate (Upper House) to question Dr. Beileh.
The questioning took place at the parliamentary buildings in Mogadishu on Tuesday, June 28.
The legislators mostly focused on the 2022 budget that the Council of Cabinet recently submitted to parliament for approval.
They also asked Dr. Beileh to explain how the budget for the last three financial years has been spent.
