Changsha, China – Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdisalam Ali, and his delegation participated in the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators on the Implementation of the Follow-up Actions of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), held Wednesday in Changsha, Hunan Province.
The meeting, hosted by the Chinese government, focused on strengthening cooperation between China and African nations through the FOCAC framework. China reaffirmed its commitment to sharing the benefits of its modernization with the Global South, especially Africa, by providing access to its vast market and offering new development opportunities.
Foreign Minister Ali emphasized Somalia’s readiness to expand cooperation with China in trade, infrastructure, and technology, highlighting the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals.
