Somali forces thwarted an attempted terrorist attack in Puntland.
Security forces in Bosaso repelled an attempt by Daesh-ISIS militants to attack the region on Monday.
Apparently, the militants planted an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting workers from Bulsho Construction Company.
They defused the IED before it was detonated.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a security officer confirmed that authorities have launched a manhunt for those responsible for the attempted attack.
