The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has appointed a new spokesperson.
Farhan Jimale joins the communications team serving the Somali government.
Prior to his appointment, Jimale had served as a Senior Journalist and Team Manager at British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
Jimale’s colleagues at BBC have already sent him congratulatory messages.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s administration has been making substantive appointments in various positions within the Somali government.
