The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has deployed more soldiers to Beledweyne town to join the fight against Al-Shabaab.
Planes carrying more Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers and battlewagons departed Mogadishu for Beledweyne yesterday.
They will join their colleagues in Beledweyne and other areas in Hiiraan region to wage war against the terrorists.
SNA troops working closely with local communities in the region have continuously inflicted stunning blows on the Al-Shabaab militant group.
The government troops and their equipment left for Beledweyne aboard military planes on Saturday, October 15.
