The Somali government has issued a report indicating that its forces killed 100 Al-Shabaab terrorists in three regional states.
The government issued the statement through the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
In the statement, which is dated Sunday, September 11, the government stated that its troops carried out joint operations with regional security forces.
The operations took place in Galmudug, HirShabelle, and Southwest states.
Furthermore, the information ministry added that members of the local communities in the three regions worked closely with them to destroy the militants.
