The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) vowed to hasten the provision of emergency support to victims of the ongoing floods in Bardhere.
Floods continue to devastate the residents of Bardhere.
The floods are a result of the rains that have been falling in the area and the rest of the country for the last few days.
Ahmed Fiqi, the Minister of Interior Affairs, promised the victims government’s support on Tuesday.
He said this following his discussions with officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) and a few United Nations agencies.
The SODMA and UN officials visited Fiqi at his office.
