The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) announced its intentions to employ 3,000 new teachers.
Daud Aweis, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, confirmed this on Wednesday.
He said that the government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, will hire new teachers.
Aweis reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making education accessible to all Somalis in the country.
“By hiring new teachers, we want to provide all children with an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive,” said Aweis.
