Osman Dubbe, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, attended the remembrance event of a deceased scholar and author.
Dubbe attended the event held in honor of Said Jama Hussein.
Hussein passed away while seeking treatment in London, United Kingdom. He had been diagnosed with cancer before his passing away on Wednesday, June 8.
Apart from his reputation as a scholar and author, Hussein has also excelled as an expert in the Somali language and culture.
Dubbe attended the remembrance event and prayers in the company of Abdullahi Hayir.
Hayir is a Director-General in the information ministry.
