A Somali journalist is the recipient of the Media Personality of the Year Award in Africa.
Khaalid Foodhaadhi received the award on Sunday.
He expressed gratitude to all Somalis who voted for him.
“Somalis from all walks of life voted for me to emerge victorious,” said Foodhaadhi.
He added, ” I won against some of the most prominent journalists from the continent.”
In winning the award, Foodhaadhi demonstrated the real talent that he possesses.
