Somali Journalists took to the streets to protest the recent killing of an Al-Jazeera journalist by Israeli forces.
The journalists carried out their protests in Mogadishu on Friday, May 13.
Shireen Abu Akleh, an Al-Jazeera journalist was murdered on Thursday in an incident that has left the world in shock.
At the time of her killing, Shireen was on an assignment in the West Bank town of Jenin.
Somali journalists who took part in the protests did so under the facilitation of the Somali Media Association (SOMA) and Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS).
