Somali journalists received training to enable them to handle trauma effectively while on duty.
The Somali Women Journalists Organization (SWJO) held training for several journalists in Jowhar on Saturday.
Organizers hoped the training would equip journalists to learn to live with the unbearable memories they encounter while at work.
Some of these memories are linked to civil war, conflicts, drought, famine, and terrorism.
Jowhar hosts the fourth leg of the three-day training.
