Somali legislators attended a workshop organized to discuss the representation of women in the country.
The legislators, who were from the House of the People and the Senate, attended the workshop organized by the United Nations.
Kiki Gbeho, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the UN, launched the 3-day workshop on Monday.
Gbeho and her UN team urged the parliamentarians to ensure the full participation of women in politics.
