Somali National Army (SNA) foiled an attack that terrorists planned against military bases in Afmadow.
SNA forces foiled the attack that was to take place on Saturday morning at military bases in Afmadow, a town in Lower Jubba.
Commander Ali Mohamed Mohamud Bogmadow of the SNA’s 43rd Division in Lower Jubba mentioned that government troops killed 10 terrorists while foiling the attack.
He added that the military blocked the terrorists from launching what could have been a deadly attack at the army bases in the region.
Bogmadow added that the twin suicide car bomb attacks were planned for the bases.
The commander added that three government soldiers suffered light injuries during the foiled attacks.
