Somali military has been urged to intensify its efforts to liberate areas that are still under the grip of Al-Shabaab forces.
Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin Adow issued this call to the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) around the country.
Brig. Gen. Adow is the new SNAF Commander.
He spoke on Monday while visiting his troops serving in Gal’ad, a town in the Galgadud region.
The new SNAF chief spent time visiting and speaking with his troops serving on the frontline. He commended them for the excellent work they do.
Specifically, Adow urged the military to zero in on areas in south and central Somalia.
