A Somali minister held discussions with officials of the US-based Coastline Exploration on the country’s plans for the energy industry.
Coastline Exploration officials and Abdirizak Mohamed were in Tanzania to attend the Oil and Gas International Trade Exhibition on Friday.
Mohamed is Somalia’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
She led a delegation of Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) officials to attend the trade exhibition.
Coastline Exploration signed several production-sharing agreements (PSAs) with Somalia in October 2022.
