A Somali state minister met with the Director of the United Nations Development Programme in Cairo.
Adam Aw Hirsi, the State Minister for Environment and Climate Change, held discussions with Khalida Bouzar in the Egyptian capital on Friday, September 9.
Hirsi is currently in Egypt for the Egypt-International Cooperation Forum (ICF).
His meeting with Bouzar took place on the sidelines of the ongoing international forum.
Bouzar serves as the Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the UNPD Regional Bureau for Arab States.
During their meeting, they discussed issues such as the environment ministry’s priorities in Somalia.
They also spoke about the roles that UNDP Somalia can play in enabling the ministry to achieve its priorities.
