London – The Minister of Education of the Federal Government of Somalia, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, is set to deliver a keynote speech today at the 21st Education World Forum, taking place in London.
The forum, held under the theme “From Stability to Growth: Building Stronger, Bolder, Better Education Together,” has drawn participation from education and science ministers representing over 100 countries, alongside international organizations and leading experts.
Farah’s participation underscores Somalia’s commitment to improving its education system amid ongoing recovery and reform efforts.
His speech is expected to highlight the progress Somalia has made, as well as the challenges it faces in areas such as teacher training, digital learning, and inclusive education.
The forum will explore critical global issues affecting education, with a strong emphasis on innovation, digitalization, and international collaboration to support resilient and equitable learning systems.
