A Somali federal Member of Parliament (MP) has called President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo an “aspiring autocrat.”
MP Abdirizak Mohamed said this while referring to a speech by the United States President Joe Biden.
On December 7, 2021 President Biden convened a democracy summit in the US.
Many heads of states from third world countries cited disinformation as one of the major challenges they face.
They termed it a major threat to democracy.
According to the MP, Farmaajo has been using disinformation as a tool for deceiving members of the public.
