House of the People lawmaker has pledged to increase efforts to seek the removal of Bashir Moalim, the Director General at the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
Federal legislator Mohamed Ali Hassan vowed not to relent until DG Moallim is sacked from the transport and civil aviation ministry.
The lawmaker said this during a recent discussion held on X Space.
The lawmaker accused the DG of making “insulting comments” that allegedly targeted the Southwest State community.
The remarks have sparked significant backlash, and the legislator’s push for action reflects growing discontent within the community, emphasizing a need for accountability.
The matter may intensify debates around government officials’ responsibilities in fostering unity and respect across Somalia’s diverse regions.
