Abdillahi Geelqaad, the Chair of Somalia’s Parliamentary Committee on Aviation, met with Darren Hall, Vice President of Business Development at Fargo Jet Center, in Fargo, North Dakota, on Thursday.
The meeting between Geelqaad, who is also a federal legislator, and Hall focused on exploring opportunities for aviation development in Somalia and leveraging Fargo’s industry expertise to strengthen Somalia’s aviation sector.
Discussions likely included infrastructure development, training, and potential partnerships to enhance Somalia’s aviation capabilities.
This initiative reflects Somalia’s commitment to modernizing its aviation industry and fostering international collaboration after decades of non-existent operations messed up domestic and international services.
