Members of Parliament (MPs) have called for the arrest of the man who burnt and killed his pregnant wife in Mogadishu.
On Saturday, the legislators called upon security agencies and the cabinet to work efficiently and ensure that the man who killed Lul Abdiasis is brought to justice.
Lul, a pregnant mother of six, was burnt by her husband a day ago.
The legislators termed the incident a “heinous act” deserving of swift justice to the deceased and her family.
Lul’s relatives swore not to proceed with the burial arrangements until her husband is arrested.
Lul died in hospital where she had been rushed for medical treatment after her husband set her on fire in a fit of anger.
