Somali National University (SNU) has a new Rector.
Dr. Hassan Osman Ga’al takes over as the Acting Rector with immediate effect.
Dr. Ga’al takes over from Dr. Hassan Omar Mahadallah.
The Ministry of Education announced Dr. Mahadallah’s ouster on Sunday.
Reasons behind Dr. Mahadallah’s removal remain unclear.
