Organizations that are carrying out peacebuilding efforts in Somalia have been urged to apply for the $30,000 grant to boost their activities.
UN Peacebuilding Fund Somalia published details on the grant on August 31 and opened it to civil society organizations around the country.
UNDP Somalia clarified that the organizations have until September 7, 2020 to submit their applications.
The peacebuilding fund would be providing part of the funding.
Any organization that specializes in promoting peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts around the East African nation is welcome to apply for the grant.
