Somalia’s House of the People (Lower House) has passed the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Act.
Legislators voted overwhelmingly to pass the new Act.
Reports from the federal parliament show that 144 Members of Parliament (MPs) voted in favor of the act while one was against it.
Three legislators abstained from the vote.
