The Federal Parliament of Somalia is set to approve the appointment of Mohamed Hussein Roble as the new Prime Minister on Wednesday.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo appointed Roble the new Prime Minister last week on Thursday.
His appointment took place the same day the country’s political leaders announced a new elections deal at the conclusion of the National Consultation Conference.
Farmaajo’s choice of Prime Minister is scheduled to sail through parliament.
The House of Representatives has a history of backing Farmaajo unlike the Upper House or Senate where his critics are.
