Somali Petroleum Authority (SPA) has a new chairman.
On October 31, the Council of Cabinet met and approved the change of chairman.
As per Sunday’s session, Engineer Abdulkadir Aden Mohamud takes over as the new Chairman of the petroleum authority.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) established SPA in July 2020.
This followed the ratification of the Petroleum Law on February 8, 2020.
