Somali pirates have contacted the owner of a shipping vessel that they recently captured along the Somalia coastline.
A few days ago, the pirates seized a shipping vessel known as MV Abdullah.
On Thursday, they contacted Kabir Group, who own the shipping vessel. They initiated discussions on releasing the vessel.
Their discussions also centered on releasing the tens of crew members that were in the vessel.
