Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre inaugurated the newly built National Blood Bank in Mogadishu on Sunday.
During the event, he also registered as a blood donor, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the country’s healthcare system.
This new facility aims to enhance the availability of safe and reliable blood supplies, which are crucial for medical treatments and emergencies.
The inauguration reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to improve health services across the nation.
