Somali Police Force (SPF) announced plans to attack a group of pirates that hijacked a commercial vessel a few days ago.
Sources within the police force added that the officers would join hands with international navies to attack the pirates.
Their plans were revealed on Tuesday.
Last week, Somali pirates hijacked a Bangladeshi-owned shipping vessel off the coast of Somalia in a daring move.
