Gen. Sulub Ahmed Firin, the Somali Police Force (SPF) Commissioner, held a meeting with regional police chiefs in Mogadishu.
Several senior police officers at the federal and regional levels were at Sunday’s meeting too.
Heads of criminal investigation units around the country were equally present to participate in the discussions on security.
The purpose of the meeting and the subsequent discussions was the acceleration of police activities.
Furthermore, they looked into ways of fighting organized crime, which has transitioned into one of the country’s worst problems.
