Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre is to represent Somalia at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Summit.
The Premier left the country on Monday.
This year’s AfDB Summit takes place in Sharm El Sheikh.
Participants at this year’s summit are to focus on climate action.
They will also discuss ways of mobilising the private sector to finance green growth.
The presence of the Prime Inkster at the summit proves the commitment of the Somali government to address climate change.
The summit brings together leaders from various countries on the African continent.
