President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has appointed a new Chief of Staff.
On Friday, the President announced Abdihakim Yusuf to take over as his Chief of Staff.
Yusuf assumes the office that fell vacant following the resignation of Hussein Sheikh Mohamud.
Mohamud announced his resignation on August 13.
He had only been in office for three months.
