President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has appointed a new Presidential Advisor on Democracy and Good Governance.
The Somali President appointed Abdirisak Osman Jurille to advise him on matters relating to democracy and good governance.
Jurille’s appointment was announced on Wednesday, October 26.
The new presidential advisor joins President Mohamud’s team boasting of years of experience in different areas.
Jurille is a veteran politician.
He is also a highly respected ex-Member of Parliament who has served as minister in various federal government ministries.
